confusing signs @ pulau tikus written by cheahst,

i'm perplexed by the logic of the no waiting + wheel clamp signs at pulau tikus.
obviously, to clear obstructing vehicles, waiting is not allowed. hence, it defeats the purpose to wheel clamp vehicles caught obstructing traffic in the zone, ie it will aggravate the congestion now that the owner of the obstructing vehicle will be unable to remove the said vehicle.
obstructing vehicles should be issued summons and TOWED away to immediately relief the traffic.
Furthermore, it defies logic that waiting drivers caught obstructing traffic will sit idly by and allow their cars to be clamped in first place! i bet they would scoot off instantly at the approach of enforcement officers.

Clamping would only causing further congestion. Immediate towing should be enforced.
